With almost two decades of experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, she is currently serving as a private practitioner, working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Gender Dysphoria and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

CHRISTINA SCALISE

Christina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents and adults, with a specialization in working with couples. Her experience includes working with individuals struggling with issues surrounding identity development, anxiety, depression, sexuality, self-esteem, relationships and adjusting to life transitions.
Christina’s therapeutic approach is humanistic and emotion focused. She uses an integrated approach that includes interventions from the schools of psychodynamic, person-centered and emotion focused therapy to meet her clients’ needs. Christina is an LGBTQIA+ affirming, and Kink aware therapist, who believes in developing a strong therapeutic relationship and honoring each client’s individual treatment goals. Additionally, Christina is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and she has achieved Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
